Rebel Art Productions

Busy, Busy, Busy!
Now that the holidays are over, and three of my kids birthdays, that fall within two weeks of each other, are over, I am ready to get back to work!
Yeah, not so easy since my laptop died on me. Nothing is ever easy, is it? Writing this from the library, definitely puts me on a time constraint. So, let's get right to the nitty gritty shall we?

Over the past few weeks, my friend, Joelene Chinn, and I started a new business.
Here are the basics.

Rebel Art Productions - Traveling Handmade Boutique

As you know, so many of us want to support local handmade artisans. We believe that we can fulfill needs of the artist as well as the needs of the consumer by creating a traveling marketplace. We want to make it easier for local artists to show their wares and bring them more exposure.

We are currently booking three venues during the months of February and March. Our premiere shows will be held in Beloit Wisconsin, hosted by Nikki’s CafĂ© on Saturday February 19th 4:00 - 10:00pm. This is a great opportunity to visit our neighbors to the North and enjoy some fantastic art, beer, wine and food!
On Thursday March 3rd from 4:00 - 9:00pm, Wicked Brew, in downtown Belvidere will be hosting a fantastic evening for us! Come see the great handmade designs, and enjoy some wickedly delish coffee and some tasty treats.
We are still confirming our Rockford show in March, so check back soon to get the scoop on that! Don't forget to check www.rebelartproductions.com for upcoming show dates and times!

What exactly does Rebel Art Productions do for our artists and our customers?

We are a full-service traveling handmade boutique. This means we take care of everything! We manage artist's inventory, we sell their designs, and we promote their business. Inventory will be displayed with care and thought so that the artwork is represented fittingly with each event. Even though this is not a permanent brick and mortar storefront, we want visitors to feel as if they are stepping into a European style boutique. During the shopping experience we will provide our shopping guests information about the artists and their amazing work. Our goal is to sell their work and consistently provide the community access to local, high quality, unique, handmade, items.

Rebel Art Productions will represent all artists to the very best of our ability, in order to make it possible for artists to sell their work without committing their own time, which in turn, will give the artist more time to what they do best...create.
We will consistantly be updating our website so that we may keep you up to date on all that is happening!
Keep an eye out for announcements of new artists, new venues, and new show dates!
